Dialysis Technician

Course Overview

Diploma in Dialysis Technology has been structured to train technicians to be an effective part of the Nephrology team. There is a growing demand of Dialysis Technicians in hospitals with an increase is diabetic patients and increasing awareness about renal diseases and the implications. These technicians will bridge the gap between the Nephrologists and patients thereby facilitating their care. The technicians are given hands on training of dialysis equipment and its maintenance. The program has been structured to provide progressive group learning among the students enrolled through case studies, presentations and group work.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum eligibility is 10+2 from Central or State board with Science Stream.

Course Duration

2 years Diploma Program

  • 6 Months Theory classes
  • 1.5 years Hospital Training.

1 year Diploma Program

  • 6 Months Theory classes
  • 6 Months Hospital Training.
